@Jenkler My plugin nodebb-featured-topics-extended is an option.

I see it on a ton of sites, despite it not being finished or advertised anywhere.

I'm not doing any work on it right now, but if you need any features added you can send a github issue and I'll get to it asap.

I would love to see something that will allow NodeBB to do this instead of need to maintain two different apps (WordPress + NodeBB)

nodebb-plugin-featured-topics-extended does exactly that, no extra app needed just a nodebb plugin! I can really recommend using it, you can see it in action on my site.

Hi, I'm an old developer, but new to forums in general; so in ignorance I'll cop-opt this thread to ask if anyone knows a way to give all the users their own blog.

It could just be as simple as a category, but with posts somehow grouped per user... Just a way to pivot the posts.

I tried the nodebb-featured-topics-extended plugin, but alas, couldn't make head nor heels of it's setup, and anyways I assume it's for a global blog for the forum, yes?

@Flemming-Hansen yes indeed it is a global 'blog' for the forum, it features the topics administratros want.
