The 1.4.1 update seems to have fixed the issue for me. More testing this evening. Thanks.

Looks like a standalone app as opposed to a web library, unless I misread. In any case, we don't typically offer compatibility with X markdown editor or whatnot for a variety of reasons: Markdown can be disabled in favour of other parsing languages (like BBCode, etc) There needs to be support for post-related functions offered by the existing composer, such as topic images, file uploads, tags support, etc. The short of it is, it takes quite a bit of work to ensure compatibility and full functionality, which is why at current we only support default and redactor.

@julian said in for NodeBB Chinese Users: If you are able to host a NodeBB forum, I'd be more than happy to replace the link to yours instead. What does that mean? Thanks Julian, I am a big fan.

Increasingly my mentor, Judy has been working on a better way to collect functional needs from users (who are not developers or implementers) and she is looking to find out if there is a better way to collect their user needs. She thinks the best is paper but it's difficult when users are scattered across continents. Thus we are looking for feedback on the following questions What tools do you use for collecting user needs? What are the actual tasks you need to do to collect functional needs from users? What re the challenges/barriers for using these tools? What can be better? Kindly answer these questions and help us serve our users better. Thanks and regards Sreekavitha

@julian said in notification of downtime: Bit of a secret undocumented route here... but you can have your uptime robot ping /sping to check NodeBB directly That is great! I assume if it switches to something other than healthy it is not healthy

@PitaJ Thanks, it is actually not the issue of NodeBB, it is the decision on which strategy to choose. Anyway, I've done no worse than before, that is enough. Test the out image links: [image: FiXXjAkZf_87iqs0NzdlWmQN4DOj]

@stuwil brings up a good point... what happens when you ping NODEBB_REDIS_HOST? Do you get the redis instance?

@yariplus said in Normal users are able to "feature" topics.: You seem to have installed either featured-topics-extended or featured-threads. Neither of these is included in the default package. This appears to be a bug, since the option should not appear for non-moderators. However, the buttons do not actually work. As for broken links, I tested my plugin featured-topics-extended and all links are working. The plugin featured-threads is broken however. Damn I keep forgetting to turn on the "Watch topics you create" option so I keep missing replies on here. Sorry about that! Thank you very much for the response, I just figured that out today actually. I had both installed still so I thought that all "featured topics" plugins were broken on my forums, after I disabled the other one yours worked. P.S. (Not sure if it's a new feature but I didn't see it at first) But I love the featured topic cards. That's exactly what I was looking for when I first joined these support forums. Keep up the good work! P.S.S. If you ever need any testing grounds or anything on a large scale for your plugins, our forums got almost 13,000 registered users in under two weeks and we expect it to continue to grow.

I'm 100% sure you can, as long as your not copying open source code from other plugins that don't allow for building off of them with a commercialized product.

Is there a way to add a tab to Users to sort by most recently online? Would this be a plugin? Anyone know of one?

Previously the new theme / plugin was released occasionally. Recently a new theme / plugin does not appear. Do you have any particular reason for this?

@MoJo we have tests for Node v6, it should work fine. Can you share some more info, please? Including the NodeBB version and what you're tryign to do.
