I have a few questions about NodeBB, though I'm quite sure about their answers I'll still ask in case there's some plugin or something I missed. Is there a way to warn users and this show up for all moderators, like when flagging posts? Like the above, can you make an user require post approval? Or even disallow to post? Both for a set time. Can you prevent tag creation?

@Bri Yes there are solutions like Microsoft's vcpkg or even cppan. But my tool would be more like a deployment complement: you would generate your binaries for the end user to download them but also an amalgamated version in case they want to use the quick n easy way. One thing I'd like to setup if this happens to be successful would be a cloud service which would allow to easily amalgamate your project.

There are not hierarchical permissions in NodeBB. If you would like to see hierarchical permissions, you could open an issue on our Github page and request such a feature. I do believe we have a way of copying permissions between groups, so that could help you out in doing what you want.

@datcangio I believe image size settings are only applied to images uploaded locally to your instance.

@julian And where is /auth/yourplugin/callback handled? Because in the case of nodebb-plugin-sso-oauth it takes to the homepage of the forum. But i want to change that behaviour and i don't know where or how.

You should specify in your config file that the NodeBB URL is indeed https. Then the newly uploaded images will have an HTTPS url automatically.

Im looking for a way to get more permission options. Like, i need to give specific group the permission to edit every users posts and topics, the other group should get the ability to ban. The permissions should be better managable.
