Vimeo Preview should show Video

I am using the Vimeo plugin developed by tedr56, when a post contains a Vimeo link the preview pane does not display the Vimeo video but instead just displays the hyperlink. Once submitting the post the video shows up as expected. Is there any way to have the video display in the preview pane before posting?
