for http://retropie.org.uk/forum/ we have around 3-5k page views per hour. Running with mongodb, redis, and nginx as a front end proxy with currently 4 nodebb processes (I recently reduced it from 6 and it seems to manage well). nginx serves up the static content. Server is a VM with 4gb ram and 2 cpu cores.

@rod Thanks, it makes sense. I didn't backup ./nodebb_module dir. So ./nodebb_module and ./uploads dirs are basically needed right? Is there any other dir is needed also?

Hello, Is there a way to report on / query the history of a post (where its been moved to from etc)? Post Created in CAT A. Post moved to CAT A / Sub Cat 1 Post moved to CAT A / Sub Cat 2 etc? I am using nodebb with MONGO. Thanks,

@arasbm For a 100 posts you can simply use the google groups' rss feed. Here's a post on stackexchange that explains how. Unfortunately I could not find a way to page the feed so if you have more than a 100 posts this probably wont work.

Ok, as I can see simple CSS rules can do this job, maybe in the future we will build some plugin to support this feature

Heroku also has a free tier and it is the easiest setup I've found.

@smi-jonathan global moderators exist as a group to essentially be admins but without access to the ACP. If you want a restricted group of admins, that's what you're looking for. If you'd like them to be able to do more, then I'd suggest opening as issue on Github. As for your particular request, no, this isn't possible without a plugin.

In general, we recommend MongoDB if you have a large community. Redis will work just fine, although the memory usage does scale up over time as everything is stored in-memory. Just something to consider.
