It is a standard widget that comes with nodebb, you will need to run latest master though or wait for the next release.

@Marylee96 I had this error yestoday and I think it is caused by uncompatible plugins. I fixed it through banning all of plugins and then active them one by one to find out which plugin made the error. Finally I uninstalled them and fixed. Hope it is helpful.

Yes, that should not be a problem. My rather elementary understanding of the GPL suggests that it allows you to use it for whatever you want to use it for, even for a site that is behind a paywall... but the source code has to remain open-sourced. If you have no intention of forking and selling a customised version of NodeBB, then I think you're pretty much in the clear

@Pummelchen Those are great metrics! Thanks for sharing Our standard is 500k views per month, but it is a very conservative limit. Also keep in mind depending on forum usage, there would be fewer actual page loads, and more relatively lightweight calls to /api, so in theory, you could handle even more traffic.

I think that function was removed, you might have some old code that is still calling it. What is your NodeBB version and the rest of the stack trace?

Re: nodeBB i would give it a unique and meaningless name, something like zoid. then make the mission a simple broad statement, like "we're structuring the world's communication". finally, i would hope you could evolve into email 2.0, an open protocol of some sort which could completely replace emails, forums, comments, slack, and even blogs, messengers and YouTube... just because it'd be decentralised and so simple to use. because the http went web 2.0 but smtp didn't. there's no need to drop the nodebb brand name, but perhaps the lessons learned there could fuel this garage project. not so sure why i think this could be the case, though. probably just another broken wild guess. i haven't done my homework.

Thank you for your reply，I understand what you mean，and I am very much in favor. NodeBB has a good experience on the web side. I prefer to know how to fix it because most people in my place prefer a client and they think it is convenient.

My question is 2 fold......I recently downloaded and installed the Google Analytics plugin provided through NodeBB, and once I did, something odd happened to my forum where myself and my other admin are unable to access the admin options without first clearing all cache and cookies. If I'm in the admin, I can't get back to the homepage, and vis versa. I don't know for sure if it was caused by the plugin download, but it all happened at the same time. 1 - Has anyone had this problem with cache, cookies, and admin access? I have tried multiple browsers and uninstalling the plugin, no fix yet. 2 - Is the plugin responsible? If not, how do I get that to work?

Hi Thanks for the amazing forum platform. I am currently working on the Laravel website with forum as a part of the website, and I have chosen nodebb as forum platform. I am really new to SSO, and I don’t have much knowledge about node.js, and even mongo database. And I am not English, so if there is anything I am not really explaining well, please let me know. Firstly, I am not sure what I want to achieve is possible. Ideally, after Laravel website (localhost:8000) user login, then clicked the forum link (nodebb – localhost:4567), then nodebb could login the Laravel user without login confirmation. The situation sounds like, I have already login with google account, when I try to login community.nodebb.org, nodebb community won’t ask me the login confirmation to login. I am not sure whether it is able to achieve, because it means a website user try to login another website without providing any information, even a token. Secondly, in another case, it could be that a Laravel user login nodebb forum, and give auth to nodebb forum, then the user can login nodebb forum with Laravel user details. I have done a bit of research online, I think that I should expose my nodebb application to OAuth2orize (https://github.com/jaredhanson/oauth2orize). I have installed the OAuth2orize by running npm install oauth2orize, but after that I don’t know what else I should do, it said to create a OAuth server, but I have no idea where I should create this server, or where I could register grants, and do I need to do anything with Laravel site?
