i would give it a unique and meaningless name, something like zoid. then make the mission a simple broad statement, like "we're structuring the world's communication".
finally, i would hope you could evolve into email 2.0, an open protocol of some sort which could completely replace emails, forums, comments, slack, and even blogs, messengers and YouTube... just because it'd be decentralised and so simple to use.
because the http went web 2.0 but smtp didn't.
there's no need to drop the nodebb brand name, but perhaps the lessons learned there could fuel this garage project.
not so sure why i think this could be the case, though. probably just another broken wild guess. i haven't done my homework.
