A way for clean orphaned files/images?
-
There is a way to do that? &Thanks
-
Sure, under "Manage -> Uploads", you can browse to the appropriate folder and see which files are orphaned. You can then delete them from the system.

@julian thanks. Maybe some query against mongoDB to get only orphaned files? Then we pipe to shell script to delete. Because we have tons of these. Thanks

Well, I found one thing.
Look at the 11th picture:
If you click that image, links to:
and the same image mark as orphaned, but intro /assets/uploads path, and not only /uploads:
The orphaned image links to assets/uploads
I have nodeBB from v0.8.x and we have upgraded. Are there any change that image paths has changed?
How can I deleted all orphaned images without risk of delete non orphaned one?
Thanks

How did I not know about this? LOL
Cleaning up SO many files now!

@Normando I am doing it one by one, unfortunately.

Yes, it'd be nice to get some sort of automated script for cleaning up orphaned files.
