I'm trying to play around with it, but I haven't found a way to change the splash page to something other than the default page. Hep! I want to move the forum home page to another route and use the home route as a splash page.

Hello Sir, First of all, Merry Chrismas to all.. when i start NodeBB via start and restart command , this error comes in log file "error: [meta/js] Could not compile client-side scripts! undefined " also at the login time, it opens new tab with this url "http://ask.enablemyteam.com/login" and nothing happens.. but when we run NodeBB in dev mode, no error comes and everything works fine, but this is not a solution.. please help me out.. we have modified some Login and register code in these threee files: 1> public/src/client/register.js, src/user.js , src/routes/authentication.js Thanks shikha tyagi

Colapsing them or compressing them would work oerfect. Or even a seperate menu where you can rearange them easy then go back to edit.

@julian said: @priapo Keep in mind putting a socket.io section in config.json doesn't do anything We had just talked about this configuration option short time ago in the issue so obviously it does affect. But "transports": ["polling","websocket"] is now the Standard. @priapo if you can't use the websockets you can set also "transports": ["polling"], then you will only get the failures for the long polling request which throws errors. I just tested by connecting directly without any proxy before NodeBB. The timeout disappears. So one failure source is that the timeout is higher than what is allowed by the proxy e.g. cloudflare. So an option to adjust the timeout would be great! The failure throwing which are left now are: GET http://localhost:4567/socket.io/?EIO=3&transport=polling&t=1419766084670-12&sid=U4674pe85Cyiv5fiAA0b 400 (Bad Request) nodebb.min.js?9604615c:9 POST http://localhost:4567/socket.io/?EIO=3&transport=polling&t=1419766094756-13&sid=U4674pe85Cyiv5fiAA0b 400 (Bad Request) nodebb.min.js?9604615c:9 GET http://localhost:4567/socket.io/?EIO=3&transport=polling&t=1419766096635-23&sid=8hFwdN-s5JA2NQQdAA0d 400 (Bad Request) nodebb.min.js?9604615c:9 POST http://localhost:4567/socket.io/?EIO=3&transport=polling&t=1419766106720-24&sid=8hFwdN-s5JA2NQQdAA0d 400 (Bad Request) nodebb.min.js?9604615c:9 GET http://localhost:4567/socket.io/?EIO=3&transport=polling&t=1419766108697-34&sid=N9btkX1jyZnnsbfPAA0f 400 (Bad Request) nodebb.min.js?9604615c:9 POST http://localhost:4567/socket.io/?EIO=3&transport=polling&t=1419766118775-35&sid=N9btkX1jyZnnsbfPAA0f 400 (Bad Request) nodebb.min.js?9604615c:9 GET http://localhost:4567/socket.io/?EIO=3&transport=polling&t=1419766120692-45&sid=HL2WrppvFQVLUZZcAA0h 400 (Bad Request) nodebb.min.js?9604615c:9 POST http://localhost:4567/socket.io/?EIO=3&transport=polling&t=1419766130783-46&sid=HL2WrppvFQVLUZZcAA0h 400 (Bad Request)

@seti123 made one although it is outdated. @joe1chen made this plugin, which is an adaptation of the Solr plugin I made, so they're fairly equivalent.

@a_5mith @julian Ok, thanks guys! Just found it odd that I was able to make 70 posts without my email being confirmed. Enjoy the holidays!

I guess it wont load the desktop, to big. But it basiclly stretches it out horizontally and just cuts it off vertically.

Hmm, interestingly enough, it works on my site, you'll need to take everything in //convoe.com/vendor/convoe/_cnvo.register.js and make your own file and replace it, you don't really have to remove it completely. This is because I have hot-linking blocked as far as assets goes.

That's the one, I was on my iPad, so couldn't elaborate much more at the time. Good to see you got it sorted though.

Hi, I've installed nodeBB and configured IIS8 with port 80 as proxy so I'm able to use forums.{page}.eu for the nodeBB board. The problem is, when I try to use the forum (e.g posting), this error appears: (it's in german) Firefox kann keine Verbindung zu dem Server unter ws://forums.{page}.eu/socket.io/?EIO=3&transport=websocket aufbauen. -> Firefox was not able to connect to the server at ws://forums.....
