ive been working on a modification of nodebb-plugin-lavender and going to release soon
Hey NodeBB Community,
Looking around i thought about seeing Group Leaders who can manage who can join a group.
Person A = Group Leader
Person B = Wants to join this group
Person A = Gets Notification of Joining Request
Person A = Accepts/Declines
Person B = Put into Group / Not Allowed
Only and idea but there it is.
Already working on this with @bentael
We are developing here: https://github.com/xCausxn/nodebb-widget-gameservers
List of game can be found there also!
Currently working on it as you can see (from the hostname being loading :P)
A modified version of @psychobunny youtube embed plugin, to allow twitch embedding.
npm install nodebb-plugin-twitch
I know this could be a plugin, but i think having it integrated and have the option to enable it would be sweet.
Admins could decide whether only certain groups or everyone has access to use it.
I think this would also increase the security of NodeBB as a whole
You need to first clone or setup a theme directory.
I recommend forking: https://github.com/NodeBB/nodebb-theme-lavender
Then what you need to do is edit the less files which get compiled on nodebb restart.
You can override the css either manually in the style.less by doing:
or you could try and find the corresponding element in the variables.less
Havent done themes in ages so might be a bit outdated.
Hope this helps
Yeah that's the only thing that is quite annoying :P, even bootstrap 4 would be nice haha
I'm using the docs and looking at other themes people have made:
https://github.com/pichalite/nodebb-theme-slick for example
I was wondering if anyone has attempted/made a demo of a NodeBB theme without the bootstrap dependency. From what I have seen when I started trying to make a theme it seems that theming is very heavily dependent on Bootstrap v3.
Any insight or knowledge about this would be greatly appreciated
Yeah i pay $2.50 for a vps to run NodeBB
