while startup, error: [meta/js] Could not compile client-side scripts! undefined, this error comes

    Hello Sir,
    First of all, Merry Chrismas to all..
    when i start NodeBB via start and restart command , this error comes in log file
    "error: [meta/js] Could not compile client-side scripts! undefined "
    also at the login time, it opens new tab with this url "http://ask.enablemyteam.com/login" and nothing happens..

    but when we run NodeBB in dev mode, no error comes and everything works fine, but this is not a solution..
    please help me out..
    we have modified some Login and register code in these threee files: 1> public/src/client/register.js, src/user.js , src/routes/authentication.js

    This is likely due to the ad company not working well with Single Page Applications. You should talk to them about it and see what they say about it...

    Hi all,

    I am not familiar with all the coding terms (newbie) but I'm learning! Trying to create a static page on my nodebb site. So I installed the custom static page plugin, created a new button in navigation that should route to the new page, and I'm trying to edit the widget in "Extend Widget". Nothing is working and this page keeps coming up: Screen Shot 2015-06-12 at 10.53.00 AM.png

    Can someone please tell me in simple terms how to edit the custom static page, and route it correctly?? Thanks!

    Sails.js and NodeBB sharing session / get logged user.

    Hi,
    I need some advice in connecting small sails.js app with nodeBB. In my sails.js application I need to get current logged user. I set sails.js session id key to express.sid (as in nodeBB), and configured it to use nodeBB collection as session storage. Then I can query for user id by session id (also from nodeBB storage). It is almost what I need to, but I can't get through some problems

    nodebb and sails app have to be on same domain when user visits sails app first, then nodeBB sets another session id and sessions are different on both apps when user logs in nodeBB, gets new session id and also, sessions are different on both apps

    Maybe OAuth is best way to go?

    And yes, cleaning out the stale, stray files from when I originally cloned off of vanilla fixed the csrf issues I was having.

    I have never seen on any forum which showed which users are reading the thread and keyboard icon next to someone if he's replying
