@a_5mith there is no branding on the embeds. EmbedKit just passes back the raw data for you create the template blocks. We will have basic styles available in Github in the next few weeks to help out developers!
Nice one pal, cheers.

@julian if you need any help, let me know. I'd be glad to contribute!!

@samsnelling You could write the plugin for me XD
As much as I love all of these new things, my to-do list is about 100 items long I'll get to it eventually.
In the meantime, do you need a support forum? Then I will prioritise building of the plugin #secretbackroomdeals XD

@julian Actually - I do need a support forum! Since EmbedKit is built primarily off Node, should be relatively simple for me to get set up this weekend!

Let's throw it up on Github or something, and all work on it @fyhao

I like it. Waiting for the new composer to be production ready and I'll start messing around with this.

@psychobunny - looked at iframely and I am not sure it would work for many sites (in particular what I have plans for). It is very focused on media based sites their site footer indicates 17xx sites enabled.
I prefer a more generic approach that embed.ly has taken or even further an extraction engine like AlchemyAPI (beyond the scope of this discussion I am sure!).
With iframely when I try to embed an article from a news site (scmp.com in my case as I am based in Hong Kong), all I get is the hero image in a graphic rich embed. With embed.ly I get the option to choose a card type and we use the article card type as a default which shows a thumbnail and a snippet of the article. My community prefers the snippet as it quite often has pretty much everything they need to know. If they want more, they can click through.

Also, there should be a configurable limit on the number of embeds per post. Some people post a number of links and this leads to the post / page height changing and often a user looses the content they were reading as something above them got rendered late and the content got pushed down.
