Feature Requests

Something that would be cool ,would be to post an empty canvas on which people could draw. Using web sockets it would then update in real-time.

An issue detailing this bug should probably be submitted on Github.

Yeah, I just took a look at my ~, I have the gits for nodejs 0.10.35, redis 2.8.19, and nodebb 0.6.0 that I built from source. These are not the legacy versions suggested on the docs, but they are the ones I got working on my Debian Wheezy. (I built them with the instructions from their gits, not the nodebb docs) I just noticed there was a sections about using a dot-deb for install, I don't remember if I tried it that way, but it might be easier if it works. I hope this helps in some way, I'm a bit of a newb myself.

On my to-do list. But it's down there a ways.

"IP Blacklist" as in a spam/malware blacklist. These are lists that security-conscious owners would naturally block, but occasionally contain innocent infected users.

even more, now the wordpress gallery shortcodes are supported, with the old post ids, i.e. [gallery ids="123,456,789"] shortcodes can be converted to, either, <img> tags, if you want a gallery plugin, you can then use @psychobunny's nodebb-plugin-gallery, or you can just convert the ids to full URLs which then you can use within your own plugin. read this section for more details https://github.com/a5mith/nodebb-plugin-import-wordpress#gallery-shortcode-note

Is there a centralized permissions system? If not, there should be. A lot of plugins have really simple ACP pages that are often just picking what groups and users have access to certain things. @julian Is there one? I'm gonna submit an issue on Github if not.

I guess most scripts has it as an option.
