Can an user select a group to join?

Hello, would be nice if the registration screen the user had the ability to choose a group to join, or the groups page there is a button to join in the group.

Right now, groups are more of a tool that administrators can use to classify users.

In a sense, they're private, although I honestly don't see any issue in adding an option to make groups "public", so anybody can join.

However right now we're a bit behind in our feature list, so this won't be implemented any time soon

@julian will this feature (allow users to find, apply and join a group after the group owner approve the user) be in 0.6.1 ? thanks.
