SEO Friendly URLS for Groups and Search

I'm not sure if anyone has already requested this. But I think it would be great to have SEO Friendly URLs for both Search (DB Search) and for Group Names. For example, if you enter a query with a space, you get %20 in the URL. Groups would be more of a priority in my opinion obviously.

I don't think the %20 would give any type of negative impact on your site.

SEO friendly URLS for Groups and Search should include a - in between spaced words. /search/seo-friendly-urls-for-groups-and-search. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything either, but it would be more fitting since all of the other URL's that use spaces on NBB use this as well just like this topic itself.

I'm sure at the end of the day, this is just an aesthetically pleasing feature that will keep things consistent with all of the other URL's.

Good to know, thought it might have a small impact on searches. But I do agree it's aesthetically pleasing also

Hey, submit an issue on GH regarding this. It would make sense to actually move forward with this, again, for consistency purposes.

@trevor @Justin It would probably only require a Utils.slugify call to implement this instead of a query string.

Also, link the issue here when you make it.
