I think the list is starting to get pretty big haha (maybe move the list to a wiki page?)
and then unpin this, create a new topic "Interesting NodeBB Forums" or something (which also links to the full link on the wiki), that lists themed forums or at least are doing something that isn't just the plain default, ex. category images/layout

@jtarjanyi To update full NodeBB you may follow the wiki. So it's basically (relative to root-path of NodeBB) stopping the server, (back-up recommended as described in wiki), git pull, ./nodebb upgrade and start the server. To only update the theme npm install nodebb-theme-dark-rectangles should be enough...
