Who is using NodeBB?
-
@baris www.orgcoin.org will be using it when we launch. Orgcoin is a crypto-currency dedicated to supporting worthy causes as well as charities and non-profits. Our website needs some stellar community features and it looks to me like NodeBB has what we need without a lot of cruft.

There we go, http://infinitecrisis.brvy.me
It's not really customized yet, wanna get some people on the bandwagon.

I added a couple more to the list...
I think the list is starting to get pretty big haha (maybe move the list to a wiki page?)
and then unpin this, create a new topic "Interesting NodeBB Forums" or something (which also links to the full link on the wiki), that lists themed forums or at least are doing something that isn't just the plain default, ex. category images/layout -
Still working on ironing out bugs and things but this is my gaming forum

Mine and @Mr_Waffle home is http://bitbangers.co.uk
It is a general gaming, programming and dev forum.

Thanks. what is the easiest way to update?
-
@jtarjanyi To update full NodeBB you may follow the wiki. So it's basically (relative to root-path of NodeBB) stopping the server, (back-up recommended as described in wiki),
git pull
,./nodebb upgrade
and start the server. To only update the themenpm install nodebb-theme-dark-rectangles
should be enough... -
@frissdiegurke I realy appreciate your fast answer

I'm using NodeBB locally. I love it! I've been experimenting with the theming and just tinkering with stuff in my spare time. (easter egg)
Here's some examples:
I have no idea how you people come up with such great looks. :envy:
