Question about NodeBB Pricing

how much are you charged for your first time?

The smallest plan is $100 per month there is no installation charge.

If you don't give your monthly pay what happens, will your forum be shutdown completely?

At worst if you are a few weeks behind we will just temporarily disable. We'll keep your data intact. Also if you decide to move to your own self-hosting (see next point) we will provide you the database backup.

Or is there any cheaper way to get NodeBB?

Well NodeBB is open source, so if you were to decide to host it yourself you're more than free to do so.

@Piercionium You can host it yourself but If you pay nodebb.org you will support the community witch is good

I myself use this but digitalocean.com (You will get 10$ if signingup thru that link) is quite good to!

I don't know witch hosting provider does give the best performance / money Feel free to discuss

@Jenkler Hhmm, best performance for your money... Your very own personal server can beat that. Besides that Digital Ocean is a good option.

Well, I'm more used to PHP and SQL because I've been in MyBB before... But I'm not really sure for NodeBB hosting..

Oh, and just interested what font do you use for the categories? I'm trying to find some font like that and I already tried Arial and Verdana and fonts like those.

I saw that someone has signed up through my digitalocean link. I Think they have a great deal. 2 Month for free if you have a small site and If you run a Minecraft server as I do (minecraft.freegame.nu) you maybe need the 20$ och 10$ package depending on plugins.
