I noticed there are many bug fixes on master branch, are those bug fix code also merged to v0.7.x branch? which one is more stable? master branch or v0.7.x ? also for plugins, how do i know whether those plugins working on v.0.7.x or master ?

SSL version works . I'm having probs editing user profiles. I did make it private but I can't even edit my own admin profile to change the email atm any1 know how this is easily remedied ?

@julian thanks for the hint- yes i resize it show up. but i still notice some issue - after i click one category from the category picker window, the chose category didn't show in the parent category field. after i refresh the page, it then show up. but not a big issue. i have a suggestion --- instead of using a popup menu window for a list of all categories, maybe just use a auto-complete text box to allow user to type in the category name.... this will be much simple when we have many categories (i.e more than 30....). Thanks.

@julian thanks. I can login as admin now after git pull today. I understand the sub-category is still working in progress. I am just wondering how it will looks like: for example: I have category hierarchy like: US --> California --> SF Bay area; and US --> California --> San Diego area. when user navigate to California category page, will the user see all the subcategories link list (like "SF Bay area", and "San Diego area") , and also see the posts to "Californa" category ? when user do a new post, when user select categories, will the drop-down menu show some tree-like hierarchy to allow user select a specific sub-category? seems it introduces a lot of complexity to the code base. we really appreciate you guys' great work to make this feature working.

Subcategories are presently only supported by the vanilla theme, and even then it's all on the backend of things. The Child categories don't acutally show inside of the parent categories...yet. This should be a simple tweak though, as @a_5mith mentioned to me the other day.

@a_5mith maybe use the breadcrum like home-> tags-> A --> B to allow use to change to a new tag navigation session like home->tags->X->B...... when user jump into a different category and click a tag in a topic, that should be a start of another short tag navigation session.....

Ah I see what you mean. Yes, searching requires a logged in account (unless set to allow guest searching in ACP), but there is no dedicated "search" page, I suppose... gh#1885 may resolve this...
