Something i talked about ages ago was a plugin that enabled geotagging for threads so that threads could be searched/browsed on a map like craigslist. This would require lots and lots of hours but at this point i think the community has grown and may consist of enough supporters to make it possible.

Hmm, interestingly enough, it works on my site, you'll need to take everything in //convoe.com/vendor/convoe/_cnvo.register.js and make your own file and replace it, you don't really have to remove it completely. This is because I have hot-linking blocked as far as assets goes.

And yes, cleaning out the stale, stray files from when I originally cloned off of vanilla fixed the csrf issues I was having.

@termnml Have no Problem with that, I prefer most of the times relative pathes. Also in web applications. Just because they're that dynamic as I moving things to other locations. Or deploying them into another environment. Good evening and good night.

I would be interested in specifying Home page template as cgi parameter to the URL. That way I can skin Home page to match where visitors come from.

I personally don't browse Medium. I indirectly use a third-party to stumble upon "good" articles when they show up on Reddit. The design is reminiscent of Majestic... or should I say, the other way around

by wp you mean html? See I'm fine using both, but they're still a language other than english that someone must learn. Im not a fan of making anyone learn a web language just so they can format their posts. Not a fan of wysiwyg either as it's glitchy and too involved. WYSIWYG is good for learning what code does what, but eventually you need to learn the code. I learned html because of pagemill, if anyone remember that pre-dreamweaver gem. problem is it taught me to use iframes when i was 17, which wasn't great either.

In the ACP you can give the image a class. Use cover to have it fit the box. Or you can give anything you want and then customize in the theme CSS override.

I was editing them in plain document mode. That was my bad. It didn't seem to make a difference. The endquote worked fine when we had the ip in the base url. And yeah! of course! I'm glad you like it.

Im doing my best to get the word out. Eventually ill have a bit more time to take a crack at theming. A bit more api to accommodate featured and favorited threads and you could really turn this into a massive-community-propagated-blog. That would put you over just about any web software out there.
