several plugins stopped working after 6.0

After I upgraded to 6.0 to fix a few bugs with the majestic theme, several plugins stopped working and I'm not sure how to troubleshoot why

Even stranger, some of these plugins appear to be working for others in 6.0. I don't know what to do at this point. I'll take all the help i can get here.

Are they not working in that they crash NodeBB?

These are the versions to install:

embedly: v0.1.3
gallery: most likely incompatible
imgbed: incompatible

@julian i just updated to v0.1.3 and it's doing the same thing. Normally the plugin would pop up under 'installed plugins' so you could enter the embed.ly API, but it's not. I know this plugin is working for other people so I'm unsure how to troubleshoot it. None of these plugins crash nodeBB. They're all installed and activated. They just don't seem to be working.

Seems like @a_5mith's embedly plugin has no admin page, unless it used to?

This plugin doesn't use their api, it just uses their script, no admin etc. 0.1.2 had a bug in, so could be that. Use (as julian mentioned) 0.1.3

@a_5mith really? I remember grabbing an API off the embed.ly site and plugging it in for the earlier version (pre 0.1.2).
I'm upgraded to 0.1.3 now and it's still not working.

Also, julian, if I write anyhting of length, Aksimet kicks in and prevents me from posting. I had to post just saying "bummersauce" and then could edit my post later to say this.

kevin fixed the embedly issue, URLs needed to be autodetected or linked with markdown. Must have been disabled.

Yep. I'm learning it's a lot like motorcycles. If something breaks, start with what you worked on last.

Any chance this might be receiving an update? Is it difficult to update these plugins to 0.6.0?
