Why Poll System is not in core?

All major bulletin has poll system as default.
So why NodeBB not has? I think to move to NodeBB, but i not want lost all poll that already created with mybb.

Theres a plugin for that. But you should see if the migration from mybb, fits with the plugin in order to not lose the polls.

sorry but plugin? i not want plugin for that...
i want know why not has poll in core.
i already checked plugin, and It is pratically abandoned.

It was just updated recently. Not abandoned. The developer was just busy with things and wasn't able to get around to it right away.

The reason why they don't include every feature in the core is because some people will want a feature to work one way, and other people will want it to work another way. NodeBB doesn't include every feature in the core to allow greater customization to the features that some people will want developed one way and other people another.

@HolyPhoenix Correct. We don't want to include all features into the core product or else we'll have an unmaintainable mess.

We advocate all additional functionality to be written as plugins

If you're seriously considering NodeBB, I can probably add polls to the importer. Looks like my favorite pony princess @ASCIIcat owns the mybb importer.
