You are RIGHT!!!
This problem really came from node version I installed in my laptop. To make "npm link" without sudo I was using nvm to install NodeJS and I forgot to select version 12.17.0.
Great teams. Thanks a lot!
Did you see it on our homepage?
Well, what do you think? We're following this up very soon with a couple of other cool things
I liked it very much!
At least it doesn't autoplay.
Yer a superfan Harry!
@psychobunny It's good but I just feel that it's just promoting community forum software. It should have had something about what's different about NodeBB and why they should choose NodeBB over other community forum software.
@pichalite Agree, they should highlight what sets it apart not what a forum can do for you.
Thanks for the feedback guys! We feel that forum software itself is due for a revival of sorts, and this video is a good way to get people thinking about NodeBB and other forum software in general.
I'd personally prefer to keep positive about all entrants in the forum space, even those some would consider to be our competitors
who did the video? its nice
@julian Maybe this could just be the first one of a series, this one about why forum are important, and then others about why NodeBB is a good choice. I agree with you on competition, those video should not compare NodeBB to current competitors but rather to how forum used to be.
The video was nice but i didnt really get what it was trying to portray.
The video was designed to attract corporate customers that don't currently have a community themselves.
Hopefully the brand new marketing site that we just soft launched today will help differentiate between the other options available
Thanks for your comments. We will definitely think of a new video in the future that's more technical with what NodeBB has under the hood
Comments on the new site are appreciated
@psychobunny The new site looks very nice, hope it will attract some new customers for you guys.
looks little broken
Haha woops. That's what I get for not testing everything after deploying to production
@psychobunny logo image seems to not be correctly referenced. It doesnt load with the page.
