Where did this come from
-
I was searching around Google for a solution to a NodeJS situation and saw an IndieGoGo for NodeBB.
Thinking it was a possible solution I now find myself here. (it wasn't) This board looks rather awesome. Granted, I haven't actually checked it out to see any backend or admin systems but still- rather wow'd so far in-terms of the frontend.
I begin to wonder where this came from. I don't recall seeing a Node based forum let alone this project. Was it recently released?

hey @Indie. thanks!
We haven't officially released yet - we're hoping to have a polished product launched along with our premium hosting platform by the end of this year
We started working on this about 6 months ago so it is fairly new!

I have a suggestion to consider. The main website says, "Test drive NodeBB on our Demo Forum." I think that would be better off being a link like- "Join our Official Community." - or something like that. (Can still be referenced as a Demo elsewhere)
Reason why I think that is- demo forums, to me, usually seem like empty/useless space placed to see what the creation look/feels like. Where this actually has potential beyond that I.E Act like a community of sorts.
I wasn't sure if this was meant to be posted in Feature Request so I just added it here.
Feel free to move it, @psychobunny (If that feature exists o.o)

Well... I guess you should change the name from try.nodebb community.nodebb lol.

Funny how that works out. Originally, this forum was just supposed to be an empty test forum, but it just ended up evolving into a community
Did you think we would not ask questions @julian??? If you build it... they will come!
Next is for us to build community / admin / whatever third party sites that are just for NodeBB users like all the other forum and community apps have!
