Notifications for replied to thread I am participating in

Is I suppose to be seeing notificaitons when users post in a thread I've been posting in?

That would depend on your notification settings. By default, if you reply, you subscribe to notifications to that topic (although that is configurable in ACP, it is turned on on this forum). You can also override that in user settings.

You can see and change the setting per-topic, via this menu in the top bar.
