Codepen Plugin

I have nodebb-plugin-codepen 0.2.0 (Latest 0.2.0) installed and active on NodeBB v1.13.3, but it does not work. A user has tested it on the present support forum, where it does work. Any suggestions?

Did you rebuild and restart after plugin activation?

This forum doesn't have nodebb-plugin-codepen but I think it is embedded by the iframely plugin.

Good to know! I am sensitive about, and hence tend to eschew, third party services. Thanks for that.

@waugh I've fixed up the codepen plugin and published it to npm:

@nodebb/nodebb-plugin-codepen

NodeBB Codepen Plugin. Latest version: 0.3.3, last published: 3 years ago. Start using @nodebb/nodebb-plugin-codepen in your project by running `npm i @nodebb/nodebb-plugin-codepen`. There are no other projects in the npm registry using @nodebb/nodebb-plugin-codepen.

If I just uninstall it and reinstall it from the control panel in NodeBB, does that get the new version?

It's published under the @nodebb org now, so you'll need to uninstall the existing one and then install this one from the command line like so:

npm install @nodebb/nodebb-plugin-codepen

@dunlix I tried upgrading the plugin and the code tells me that it is not compatible with the version of NodeBB I have.

@dunlix I just need to try it out in the wee hours so it's less likely I crash the site while someone is trying to use it.
