Depends on the area too. I'm in western nassau county (aka close to NYC) but if you go deep on long island the prices jump up a bit. I saw 3.99 in a few places and a 4.09 just before going out on a diaper run for the kid.

@HolyPhoenix $1.04/L? That's quite cheap. Around here, it hit a high of $1.40/L over the weekend, which is $3.93 CAD/gal, or $3.60 USD/gal

Well I used to live (and born in) Malaysia, gas is stupidly cheap in Asia we are talking like 15 cents US per liter lmao

You should try the uk for fuel prices, we get bent right over the proverbial barrel of oil, we pay on average £1.30 for a litre, but it can be more, so average $2.20 USD or $2.40 CAD.

There's 3.79 litres in a us gallon, which, when I carry the 1 and multiply by Pi, brings me to the equivalent $8.34 USD or $9.10 CAD per gallon of jungle juice. Anybody want to sponsor a relocation?

Last time I was in home in Toronto, it was $1.30 per litre. Canadian gas is always about 30% more expensive than down south of the boarder which is ridiculous given all the gas in Alberta. But we have our crazy regular tax and green taxes to thank for that and it won't be changing anytime soon.

@a_5mith UK? That shouldn't even enter the conversation. I don't know how people do it out there. That's why they re-adapted those new cars to always stop the engine at the traffic light in order to save some gas. Well, UK is expensive for everything really.

I spent about 600pounds sterling on parking and speeding tickets from the shitty sentinel type cameras they have around every shitty street corner. They even have 20mile/hour zones in a whole borough around Islington. Immoral shit! I think Edmonton is the only place in Canada to have those speed cameras. Ontario outlawed them.
