@murcs As the changes were contained in multiple commits, it may be easiest for you to wait for v1.16.2 (this Wednesday)
oh! great. just three days to wait. sounds fairly okay =;^)
Definitely need a way of allowing someone to place someone else on an ignore list. But a true ignore, as in, don't want to see anything about their post, can't be contacted by them, they don't exist type of ignore. Rather than it showing their post as "you've ignored this person"
Similar to how Xenforo works I guess.
I vote for this as well. Having participated in Spiceworks heavily for most of a decade, there are people that you want to just have go away and by ignoring them you can turn down the volume and keep people from feeding the troll without trigging the offending person to do retaliatory posting due to being banned.
So this would be the equivalent of a "Mute" feature to suppress a users posts. Cool.
@trevor Pretty much yeah, a lot of bulletin board software just hides it, I think it's more impacting to completely remove that post so it doesn't appear in the thread though. Perhaps allow admins/mods to add certain people to a global ignore too. Including guests.
Has this live guys ? I can't find the mute/ignore feature for users anywhere?
@trevor is this plugin working>? link please.
