@pummelchen A possible way -with movable instead of fixed header- would be a fork with Persona theme as upstream, editing the file templates/header.tpl, removing the navbar-fixed-top class from the navbar, and adding a div with the logo as header (probably with hidden-xs class if we want to avoid using it on mobile to save space). Among adjustments to work well with this layout, I would move the breadcrumb from top to bottom of the file templates/partials/account/header.tpl, for profiles. The editor would also need adjustments.

I still think that ability to see a specific's user for e.g if i am following John, then i should be able to see a list of all the topics they r following to mind common mutual interests.

Ofc john should be able to turn this on or off in his privacy settings that his followers can see his topics for which he is following.

Better yet, you can right-click on the timestamp next to the username for any individual post and copy that link, which will then redirect people to exactly that post in the topic. For instance, https://community.nodebb.org/post/67186 redirects to my first post in this topic.

Within each topic, I'm interested in seeing a threaded view of posts in that topic. Here is a markup.

Adding the option to toggle this on/off would be in Admin/Settings/Posts

I have several older/grumpier board members that miss their old ubb.threads and want to see 'who has replied and in what order'. Similarly, those same users would want this threaded type view of each Topic on the Home page, however I am currently force feeding Magazine layout to see if I can convert them at least a little.

I wish there was a setting to limit the number of photos a user can upload per post/topic.

I want our users to be able to upload their own pics and videos in a gallery on their profile page just like fb profile page, that would be a very cool feature.

Right now only few pages show in the widget. If we can also have all pages like /recent , /popular /notifcations etc all in widgets, then we can add content in header, side bars and footers of these individual pages.

Any ideas how to show all pages in widgets for easy dev?

I really love the shoutbox plugin, however since it is not compaitble with the latest version of node bb.

I was thinking how can we add ALL the forum users in a sort of Global Chat Room (a chat room made from the private chat) which only admins can make such a room.
This room will serve like a public chat room/shoutbox for ALL THE FORUM users.

How can we achieve this? Doing this will allow us to have all the amazing features the chat front is being worked on such as sending images etc.
