Hey guys, I just noticed this as well. I recently updated our certs, but not sure if that's the reason, of whether it's just a new check from Chrome. either way, gh#3054

Yep, you were right. It was fallbacking to ajax polling. I guess I'm just going to use CF in DNS only mode until they release their web socket support to other plans.

@gvimlan You can listen to the filter:user.updateProfile hook https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/blob/master/src/user/profile.js#L21 and restrict email changing. UPD: You see that conditional statement, right? https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/blob/master/src/user/profile.js#L38-L40 You need to just always make it = null; inside your listener, that's it.

@nweber This is a legitimate issue, perhaps if "local login" is disabled, this box should be hidden as well.

  • Why are Global Widgets reloaded every ajaxify?

Since they're global, it doesn't seem to make sense that they're reloaded every time you navigate to a different page. Would save a few reflows if they were persistent like the navbar.

It's a bit off-topic but still related to default settings for external links. I haven't tested the acp of 0.7.0 yet and I was wondering if there was something like a whitelist for external links? Then if someone click on an external link we can activate the warning page "you are leaving the forum", but if it's a sub domain, a root domain or a trusted url (youtube) for example we don't show this page.

@Danny-McWilliams Wow wee bit of a journey you had there. looks like you managed to retain enough of your community though to keep your forums viable which is good going. I'm not a football fan (though I pretend to support Motherwell/Arsenal - won't catch me watching them play) but there are a healthy variety of topics with active conversations on your forum. Have you had a look for a Wordpress theme centred around forums? I haven't either but there are all sorts of themes on Themeforest, and they rarely cost more than USD $50.

@nhl.pl said: @Armadillo said: I also got messages to work, but there is a large amount of 15% which hasn't been imported. I'll see if I can find the reason. Again. You can send your mysqldump (send an email to plugin author) and your issue may be resolved. https://github.com/akhoury/nodebb-plugin-import/issues I already fixed it myself.
  • how can I register to my nodebb from another website.
