    @julian nope, just using Persona. Could changing the language setting (other than English) mess up the odrder?

    @pichalite said: @MJ It's not a plugin. It's the persona theme. It was updated for NodeBB v0.9.x to look like that. Which theme do you use? Persona, but I use 8.2 I'm going to update very soon I like the profile page a lot. Thanks Pichalite for the information

    I got it to work... I changed the .htaccess to RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^forum.example.com RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://localhost:61111/$1 [NC,P,L] and the config.json to { "url": "http://forum.example.com", "port": "61111", "secret": "###", "database": "redis", "redis": { "host": "/home/###/.redis/sock", "password": "", "database": "0" } }

    Thank you! I was totally looking at the wrong place (users and user groups). But this makes more sense I guess.

    We say by and large that NodeBB doesn't run on shared hosting, but that is an oversimplification. Most do not, since they are geared toward php applications that you drag and drop files into via sftp. If your shared hosting provider gives you shell access to install programs (namely mongo and nodejs), then you should be fine.

    [image: m4BkKx3.png] I installed nodebb-plugin-header-extend plugin and then wanted to go back to default navigation. After going back to default navigation, I was able to see some small blank icons in the navigation , so I activated the plugin again and deleted all the icons. Then all the icons were gone, and I was not able to put back any navigation icons into it. Is there anyway to make it default? like resetting just the navigation part?

    @jdk1811 said: @frissdiegurke Thanks again! everything went well Can I ask one more thing though,? Is it possible to delete alt on emoticons? I thought it was on parse.js, so I deleted alt:function(match){return match}, this line, but it just broke the whole plugin Great to hear if you delete this line instead it should work. The line you mention I suppose is the one within emoji-parser module (default options), not within emoji-extended plugin.

    It should work read-only (disallow javascript and 3rd party cookies prevents everything else). Node.js is just the server-side, it doesn't matter in this regard if the client disables javascript. But since NodeBB relies on javascript for login purposes, it's read-only then.
