I have now managed to upgrade from 1.4.0 to 1.4.6, but can't get any further. Plugin issue has been resolved from deleting it on filezilla Any ideas on going from 1.4.6 to 1.9?

@pitaj Thanks for replying Pita. I did ask quite a while ago now, I will try and find my post later I am not moaning in anyway, this software is free and it's been great to be honest. I am not sure what's causing the issue exactly, when I download the o2Auth plugin and then also enable on my forum, both parts go offline. I then have to FTP into my site and remove from both ends.

I've found the cause, the Wordpress SSO plugin was causing issues.

There seems to be one thats newer than the one that npm installs (npm installs a forked version rather than the original author). I manually put this one (https://github.com/psychobunny/nodebb-plugin-paypal-subscriptions) in and now it works (don't forget to rebuild too)

I don't think so. This is something to bring up on the plugin's Github page.

Is your name Tom? Did you create MySpace? he he he... In any case, looks like you'd want to create a plugin to do this... listening for the hook for user filter:register.complete maybe...

Is it possible for Nodebb to be in control of wordpress privileges? I have a page on my wordpress website, with some iframe/php on, but I would like this to be inaccessible unless the user has registered to my Forum initially. Can this be done?

Does anyone have any info regarding this? I've checked github but no installation instructions. I know i've done something wrong here & have had to disable this for now, the Forum was unreachable with what I entered and kept redirecting to my homepage Cheers!

You want to switch from a subdomain (abcd.example.com) to a subfolder (example.com/abcd). Basic steps: Change config.json to reflect the new url "url": "http://forum.example.com" -> "url": "http://example.com/forum" Use nginx to reverse proxy requests by adding a new location block for /forum
