How can I confirm the Wordpress SSO is working?

I appreciate any help I can get with this one.

I have doubts over if the Wordpress SSO is working, as I was under the impression that once a user logs in to my Wordpress site, they'd also be logged into the forum?

• my forum is running on forum.domain.com
• members create their Wordpress accounts at domain.com

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction

Does anyone have any info regarding this? I've checked github but no installation instructions.

I know i've done something wrong here & have had to disable this for now, the Forum was unreachable with what I entered and kept redirecting to my homepage
