Can't edit categories

As admin, if I go to manage > categories, I only get the top menu, and a white page where the categories should appear. I can add a new category, but as soon as I go back, there is a white page. Nothing seems to appear in the log if I run ./nodebb log

I know categories used to be there, as that's how I created them in the first place. If I go to /admin/manage/categories/3, I get all the info about that category.

I'm running from master, version: dc317d61b65798ae21193c32d71a01b11d9ecffc , on top of FreeBSD 10.1, node v. 6.4.0, mongo 2.6.12.

Any ideas?

short story, don't use master in production. there will always be issues like this, the stable branch is v1.x.x

Any way to go back, at least for testing? should I fill a bug report?

This is fixed on master just pull again.
