Works now!

Looks sexy. I particularly like the display of 5 threads from each category, that is nice indeed. On larger screens, displaying 3 categories per row instead of two could do a lot for information density, I think.
Thanks. It can be configured to accommodate the 3 column layout on larger screens.

The coding part is simple, the hardest part (and why it will take a while) is the UX. This is not a CMS (although it can be extended such as one), it is a forum and its always been difficult to reimagine a forum so I'm going not based on a Sketch mockup but freehanded.
Would like some feedback based on the screenshots. The live site is up too, I removed the SSL so there is no SSL on the site at this time.
(haven't forgotten about the repo)

Unless I am going mental (quite possible) there was another image with a handwriting-style font?

@jarey I am getting this:
I see its built on laravel not nodebb
I think the forum engine, once logged in is nodebb, but i could not say it 100% sure.

@jarey I can't get to register in the site. It just goes black when i hit register:
I just registered today to see the site. But a you commented maybe it just changed technology and it doesnt use nodebb now, cuase the design is different. I was sjpposing that the changes were somethig made in the custom theme, but it seems completely different platform. As i said before i can't confirm 100% cause i'm browsing it on mobile.

Sorry, the main site is not NodeBB.
Its this one with the 4567 port.
In which case, that reminds me to push this to Github. -
