@pichalite Hi, I haven't heard back so I'm following up.
New Raspberry Pi is officially released — the 64-bit, WiFi/Bluetooth-enabled Pi 3 is powerful enough to be your next desktop. And still $35.

As someone who recently purchased a Pi2...
But SO COOL!
NodeBB runs on an original RPi. Now we're looking at tiny little boards that can run entire desktops. Crazy.

Speaking of timing, as much as I love my giant dedicated server. Its getting a tad expansive, and that new Pi looks like a good way to offload some of my lesser applications I run to it
-
Ordered this today. Have a Pi 2 running OSMC and a CUPS print server. But will hot swap it for the Pi 3 and potentially use it for more automation. Then use the Pi 2 for some sort of project. Quite like the idea of the mirror with screen behind it.

@a_5mith Oh ye, I'm also looking at those and thinking... "I want one... nooowwww", then never actually getting to it.
-
I want to make one of those mirrors myself. Would be an awesome dashboard.

Just show off with your sleek looking mirror displaying a live feed of the NodeBB forums

I'm thinking maybe I can load up some sort of minimal OS and migrate all of my development to the cloud
Raspbian, maybe...
-
@julian It runs really well on the Pi 3 apparently from the videos I've seen.
-
Well that's no good, since I literally just bought a Pi2 a couple weeks ago
-
good timing
