Your initial header.tpl should work with the latest version of nodebb, app.template is no longer necessary since that is available in ajaxify.data.template

Hi, I am trying to use placeholders in /admin/appearance/customise#custom-header but it does not appear to be working. Any way I can enable it?

I don't believe template declaration are parsed in the custom header, so you will not be able to use those placeholders there.

Okay, so how do I use them? Where can I move the custom header to that will allow me to use these?
