What is the Home > Users > Map page used for?

It isn't very clear what the info means on the following page:

There's some links and avatars displayed and I have no idea why? Forgive me for being dumb.

It would appear the page tells you where each logged in member currently is. So you can see what thread I am reading. What thread your reading. That other people aren't in any thread but are looking at the categories page. Etc.

@psychobunny usually a "user map" refers to a geographic map of user locations around the world. That's the kind of map I was expecting when I visited the page for the first time. But I understand now that this page is more like a "heat map" of the site (i.e. which site pages have current activity).
Regarding ideas for layout, I'll have a think...

I agree the name "map" might be misleading, I can't think of a better name for the route atm though

@psychobunny naming schemes, fun! Try user activity. For the design overhaul, keep the minimalistic. Try making 2-3 locations where the user is next to each other instead of throwing them all in a list, add some clear lines between all of those and I think it should look alot better

My wife (graphic designer) recommends some sort of row highlighting (alternating row colors) to better separate each location. I will try to get more out of her later.
