https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/issues/2685
barisusakli created this issue in NodeBB/NodeBB closed maximum post length setting in acp #2685Collapse all latest posts on forum index
-
Title basically says it all, this could add a nice touch and "unclutter" the index if wanted.
-
For all themes, you can go to the "Categories" page in the ACP and change "# of Recent Posts" to 0. That should do the trick.
-
No what I mean is collapse/explode ALL to get a better overview. Not something permanently that is set from the ACP, a front end user function.
-
Yeah that's a good idea. I'll think about that for our next theme. I've seen a couple of forums using lavender with recent posts set to 0 and they look pretty good. I guess there's a balancing act between too much information and not enough information (ex. vanilla) and I'll try to address this in our third official theme... coming soon to a github repo near you.
-
in our third official theme...
Are we launching NodeBB v0.4 already?
-
Will the third design be the one showcased on your homepage?
I really dig that the most, although I haven't seen it in action yet.
-
Well, I suppose we'll have to ask @trevor about that one
-
cough cough... @julian What's up...

I don't know, it's been 14 days
