Hiring: NodeBB plugin developer

@julian @JamesJ I'd urge you to consider the one Julian would like in core to be made open source. I wanted a better editor and as an individual bought a $500 OEM licence for the best one and donated it to the project so it could become part of core and improve NodeBB for everyone. I could have bought the cheaper licence and put the plugin into my own code alone, but that kind of flies in the face of open source, especially when the underlying tech that makes this whole forum work is free as air. I'll not push further, I just wanted to say it's maybe worth considering.

Don't worry, already working on something
I'm currently working on and NDA which will exclude the plugin @julian is talking about.
For a little bit of information, it's just general edit, such as adding temporary bans, reasons for all bans, reasons & notifications for when you delete posts / topics and reasons for Flagging posts for Moderation. -

The other plugins wont. Especially the two main plugins. Which we will not be releasing.

@JamesJ I'm kinda against the closed source culture. especially for plugins that are actually for a forum software that are open source. Hell, I don't mind paying for the plugins. But having them closed for one person seems like a disadvantage for everyone else who might have the game idea but not the funds to back it up.

@Kowlin the fact is, the majority of our plugins add nothing to the actual forums. They're more targeted towards our game server, things that aren't designed for a forum.
However, we're using NodeBB to hook onto, so we're just adding pages.
I'm sorry, but we wont be releasing the majority of our projects open-sourced, due to the fact that they're branded towards our server -- not a forum.
