Inbox for Google

Hey guys, anybody got into the Beta yet? http://www.google.com/inbox/
I'll
you forever if you send me an invite
-
Chat me yo email

Yeah, got it on my iPad. Can't see myself using it though. Email isn't really something that needs "simplifying". That and its only optimised for iPhone, so it looks a bit ropey.
Ill put it on my S4 when my other half gives me it back from her month of borrowing it.

@a_5mith I haven't opened Gmail on the web or on my OnePlus One since I started using Inbox about a week ago. It's really hooked me on the whole inbox zero idea with the task-oriented design. I really like the snooze feature too, sometimes I forgot to address emails later on in Gmail.

I'm falling in love with some of Google's Material Design. Not everything is great in my books but I wanted to see a bit more of it in action. Downloading inbox now, thanks @luke

Oh nice, and @baris and I an invite @psychobunny

@julian We had an invite giveaway at BitBangers but I have ran out of invites now.
I am not a fan of it. It seems like a jumbled mess to me. Although I may just be using it wrong.
I prefer the latest update for Gmail app than I do Inbox.

I'm still rocking thunderbird on the laptop and the standard mail app on iPad.
I don't put email on my phone. I'd spend my time deleting it all.
-
Inbox didn't do much for me as I already have tons of filters set to label everything accordingly.
-
Yeah I've been using it for almost a week now. Not sure whether I like it for its UI, or if its just helpful and easier to use verses Gmail. Someone invited me so I'm not sure how to invite someone or if I even have any invitation privileges.
EDIT: Found it, only have 5 invites to give. Going to give 2 invites to my other accounts, which means I'll only have 3 for now, and 5 + 5.

Got 3 invites, chat me your email and I'll send you one.

The material design (effects) is more so in the mobile application than in the desktop interface. I was pretty disappointed as it feels smooth but still didn't really see anything that was mind blowing in the desktop. I do like the colors and the padding/margins are on point, however, its nothing new for the most part. But like I said, the mobile app is a slightly different story.
