Thanks, the disable plugins suggestion worked. Apparently it was the "sanitize html" plugging that was causing the problem.
Not even sure why we had that still installed.

Unsolved Move content from one category to another

Is it possible to move all the content from one category to another?
If so, how do you do it? -

- Rename Category 1 to whatever the new new is going to be.
- Move/merge all posts from Category 2 to the new new cat.
Something I am missing? Been a while since I needed to do this....

What version are we talkin' about here?
It is an unexpected behavior unless there are no categories created or there is a bug in play.
Do also check yout categories setup in the ACP and also the permissions/privileges too
Naturally if you are admin you should by rights see everything.
