How do I use "verified users" group?

I want to put all posts from unverified users into the post queue, and once they're verified they don't. There seems to be "verified users" and "unverified users" groups already, but I don't see where to assign users to these groups aside from the admin panel.

The verified users group is specifically for users with a verified email.

oh. well i suppose i can create my own group and exclude that from the post queue.

how can my moderators add them to that group though?

@Jim-Bridger moderators don't have the ability to adjust group membership, unless they also happen to be owners of said group (which if you're creating a custom group, is doable)

Then they can add and remove users from the group details page.
