Digest not being sent as expected

Hi Folks,

I have set my digest settings to trigger weekly through ACP but few users are receiving the digest and few are not. I have set digest email to daily on my profile level and i am able to receive digest on daily basis.

Any suggestions where to look into for the fix or did i miss something in ACP ?

What's your email setup? It's most likely that your emails are sending up in the spam filter.

@pitaj i have configured GMAIL for SMTP Transport in ACP. And i have confirmed from the users as well the didn't receive any mail in spam.

Is there anything else that i need to configure apart from this for weekly ?

@arc002 it's possible that you're being rate limited by Gmail. How many users do you have?

@arc002 If you are using gmail, does it save the emails in your sent folder? Perhaps you can see if some emails are sent.

Other than that, I would recommend using a third-party host like SendGrid instead of Gmail, because of potential rate limiting as @pitaj suggests.

@PitaJ @julian ok i'll try another setup. However, the frequency day is not same for every user few are receiving digest on Sunday and few are receiving it on Thursday, how could i ensure that every user will receive the digest on same day(Tuesday).
