Is it possible to limit a category for creating new topics only by administrators? I have a general info category that I people can reply to, but I dont want them adding new topics too. is it possible to configure a category like this?
Yes, you can remove "create topics" privilege from normal users.
@baris thats a global option though right? Im hoping for the ability within just specific categories

where exactly do I enable/disable this?
@sweetp In your ACP under Manage -> Privileges. Select a category (not global) and remove create topic privilege from registered users.
