The Post GUI did not give me a hint that image uploads are available. How can you tweak the UI to tell the User about the Image upload options ?
I really wanted to add a little something to the UI to let the user know about drag/drop image uploading, but as it stands, there's not much real estate.
Possibly a help button.
A tiny icon would help.
It could lead to a Notice at the bottom of the editor or just a message describing the image upload options.
I love the desktop drag and drop with auto upload. Especially as a Mac guy I'm spoiled with being able to just move things so now my forum posting will only get more and more chaotic if I can image bomb at will!!
Like me in a wolf suit at a anti power company rally during Superstorm Sandy when I had no power for 2+ weeks..
On my local installation, drag and drop doesn't work for image upload. When I used Chrome to "inspect element" the source code, I saw a "imagedrop" class, however, when I put my curser on the element, it didn't highlight where the image drop was in the composer box. Normally when you do put your cursor over an element in the Chrome console, it does highlight where that element exists on the page, so I'm assuming it doesn't exist on my installation for some reason. Do I have to activate it somehow?
try to upload image now..
Added the image icon to the composer and a text copy at the bottom.
