Is there any place for a <div> to run across the site

As NodeBB is partially updated, I wonder if there is a container for a widget or <div> to run across the site. Navigation bar is an example, but there is no user-defined container available till present.

I don't believe there is, but it would be a nice feature.

There are global widget areas. If those don't fulfill your use-case, then you should explain what exactly you mean.

@pitaj Global widget is not what I want, as when user click some link inside the forum, the widget loads once again, that is not what I want. I need something like navigation bar.

I think I can do an use case scenario:
A side permanent chat, so when you navigate the site, the chat remains there and only the content gets updated, while the chat is still available and you can still chat.
More or less like the navigation-bar / nodebb-skeleton than when you change topic/category/pages it doesn't get reloaded.
