I was trying to switch to Apache instead of Nginx and I did all the instructions on https://docs.nodebb.org/configuring/proxies/apache/
But when I visit forums.mydomain.com, the default Apache welcome page appears.
I’d appreciate any help!
how does one change and update google site description that shows up on google search?
ACP -> Settings -> General -> Site Description
Try using the ACP search before posting your question next time.
@julian thank you.
How to show such snippets, from where to do so.
Like in the image you can see
2. nodebb development
In my case, the name of the users of my sites is coming in snippets.That looks really weird.
These people are also using your nodebb forum.They are showing 4 options in their snippets
4.notepad ++ 7.5.4 released
I also want to some snippets on google search,for now it is showing absurd i.e name of users of my website.thats looks really bad
@abhinov-singh the entries below Google results are determined by the ranking of those results. Ranking is based on popularity, etc. There is no way to control them directly AFAIK
@PitaJ This is my case as you can see in the image.
name of the categories can come that is also fine but the name of users is really bad.
And my discussion what has been done is showing in the description. And in google snippets name of the users is coming, how can be they popular.
I don't understand how this is happening
What version of NodeBB are you running? Looks like you could upgrade to latest stable, I don't see a link to topics here, which could be significant... https://doubt.dubbtr.com/sitemap.xml
@julian Yes indeed ,
rightly said :
I don't see a link to topics here, which could be significant..

You should upgrade to latest NodeBB and see if it still persists.
