Ability for users to make anonymous posts?

Quora provides this feature. They say give man a mask and he will tell you the truth.

How can we give this option to our users to post topics anonymously or as guests?

Guest posting is already a feature. I suggest searching for "guest" in the ACP.

yes baris, you are right. i mean logged in users should also be able to make posts anonymously ? we should have an option to turn this feature on and off from admin panel in case people mis use it, but this will allow community to have generate lot of content faster.

This would be a nice plugin -- not much need for it in the core product unfortunately!

Do we have any update regarding such a plugin? Giving the option of anonymity to registered users will definitely promote involvement in the case of some forums.
