Slick Theme Bugging in 1.7.0

Is anybody having problems on self hosted site with Slick template? Widgets don't work and loading bar keeps repeating at the top of the page (when I say loading bar I mean the blue effect across the top when it loads). Other themes are working fine. Tried reinstalling rebuilding etc, nothing to be done.

Slick may not be updated for compatibility with v1.7.0 yet

Yeah it needs the widget areas I think those were added in 1.6.0, I will see if I can send a PR tonight. https://github.com/pichalite/nodebb-theme-slick/issues/10

@baris Slick theme doesn't support widget areas. It's something else.

Thanks guys, I really like that theme! It does have global sidebar and header, it was quite nice. Nothing working now though as regards widgets and it seems to be continuously loading or refreshing. I'm on Persona now but hope a fix comes.

@billygrande updated theme to work with 1.7.0. Try updating to latest theme version.
